Pair a gorgeous location like The Guild with this fabulous couple and the result is this, an engagement session full of romance, from the very first image captured to the very last kiss.
A new trend in wedding photography "Trash the Dress" offers brides a fun alternative for the wedding dress after the ceremony. I was super excited when my clients of a St. Maartan destination wedding asked if I'd be interested in boating to Anguilla to one of the top 10 beaches in the world to capture them trashing the dress. Hmm let me think... Yes!!
Rachel and Tyler decided to elope in style with a vintage-inspired celebration. You can see how all of the little thoughtful touches perfectly highlight their personalities. I was in heaven when I laid my eyes on all the prettiness surrounding me to capture - truly a photographers dream. The ceremony took place on the rooftop of the picturesque Windsor Arms Hotel. To be wed by their very dear friend Maria, who was the couples inspiration to get married, allowed for an intimate affair that will warm your heart with all of the love, joy and happiness that was shared.
A real engagement photo session! How exciting is this?!
Kyle wanted everything to go perfect for when he asked the love of his life to be his forever. He planned and thought it out to a T. Rubie (the bride to be) thought she was taking couples photos. Well, to her lovely surprise...instead found a message in a bottle on the sand. Inside, was a map which led her to a near by willow tree where she found a hand-lettered poem engraved in wood. When she turned around to reveal her excitement Kyle was down on one knee. Before he could even ask the big question she said "YES".
I had the greatest pleasure of working with Rachel to capture this pregnancy series. They’re not wrong when they say that pregnant women have a glow.
It was the perfect time to photograph Rachel as she was showing quite nicely and with those beautiful lines and curves she had the perfect figure and cutest little baby bump.
The thought of welcoming a newborn into your home and heart can be quite overwhelming, and it is easy to forget to treasure the moments in anticipation and waiting. Surrounded by blooms, greenery, and the admiration and love of her husband, expecting mother, Sarah glowed in her joy and contentedness.
Nestled amongst the natural, crisp beauty of the Haliburton highlands, the wedding of Kyrstle and Ben combined some old-world traditions with a fresh spin that stemmed from the couple's individuality. From the moment Ben popped the question, Krystle's creativity was kicked into high gear. Fixated on the big day, Krystle leaned on her friends, family and wedding planner to create an experience unlike any other. From the rustic wood signs, love-laden messages scrawled across cedar boards to the playfulness of the bridal party's matching cowboy boots and golf-themed poses, Krystle's vision came to life.
The bride looked stunning in a flattering, jewel-covered dress that seemed to float across the tall country grass. Not to be outdone, Ben complemented his beautiful wife to-be with a handsome suit and polka dot socks, topped off with a handpicked sunflower from the fields that surrounded the ceremony.
As the dew dried on the fields and fairways, everything seemingly fell into place - an intimate celebration of friends, family and love. As Ben and Krystle exchanged vows, onlookers witnessed a moment in time that redefined who these two were as a couple.
Finally announced wife and husband, Krystle and Ben took off down the soft, green aisle with family and friends in tow. With a click of his heels, Ben signaled the start of something amazing - a life with his best friend.
They substituted the back road scenery for a grand ballroom with towering wood walls for their reception. In no time, the wedding party put the cowboy boots and high spirits to the test - giving everyone a lesson in good ol' fashioned country fun! Without a moment missed, this incredible celebration was captured for your viewing pleasure... and I'm sure you will love it just as much as I did.

I had such a fun time shooting these engagement photos last weekend with Lisa and Ollie. With red and black wedding colours and the reception being held at the swanky Thompson Hotel, the vintage rocker theme was perfect for this couple. We made our way over to the Thompson Diner which had the perfect decor for our shoot, complete with Cola floats.
The wedding of Alexis and Michael reflects the true essence of a rural wedding. Lindsay, the small home town where Alexis grew up, was used as the backdrop for this cheery, chic and country fresh affair.
I’m giddy over the location of this family shoot!!! Set in a fairytale garden we had the most darling picnic set-up. I can’t get over the vintage props that Katherine & Matt put together, it really makes the whole look in my opinion!
Today’s wedding is the kind of affair that makes me fall in love with my job all over again. This dreamy Thompson Hotel wedding is right up my alley… gorgeous couple, edgy decor, boutonniere made of chilli peppers and a whole lot of love to beautifully bring things together.
There was nothing quiet about this library themed wedding celebration of Christy and Ron. The couple got together with close friends and family at the Toronto Reference Library and rocked the night away.
The day was filled with quirky touches and creative flair including custom invites that I had the honour to design for the couple. Guests were entertained with Ron's hilarious jokes while others took a softer approach with the most touching words. Christie looked radiant in her J. Crew wedding dress and sparkly Jimmy Choo flats with beautiful bridesmaid standing beside her.
A big thank you to Shamas Chaudhry from shamsphotography.com for helping me photograph this wedding. You are truly a talented photographer and an absolute pleasure to work with.

A Snow White inspired photo shoot takes place in a fairy tale forest setting, in the mystical land of Bobcaygeon. Follow us on a journey as our raven haired heroine takes a bite of the forbidden fruit and spirals to her death.
This session features a mom and her son having a blast together!!!! It’s a great reminder to us adults we should all stop and take time to have fun with our kids . . . cause there’s nothing better than making each other laugh :)
There is such a lovely, peaceful feeling in these beautiful outdoor maternity photos captured at the Bluffs. This cute couple, Courtney and Jeff, are already in love with their little one on the way, and these photos will be such a sweet reminder of this time in their lives!
